How Challenges Work
This is a quick tutorial on how to participate in our challenges and mint some NFTs
What are challenges?
We want to motivate people and have common goals. Let’s make ourselves and the world better. To achieve this goal, we put up challenges on our website.
They can start from basic ones, to complex events. Hopefully we can coordinate on discord and set targets together.
How to participate?
The process is quite straight forward. Here’s how you do it:
Make a short video that proves you completed the challenge. Then post it on YouTube shorts, TikTok or Instagram reels
Login to your account at thegenierats.com/login
Go to thegenierats.com/challenges/add and paste your video link into the form
Wait until the challenge ends and get your reward. The mint button is on your profile page. Make sure you are logged in
We recommend using the hashtags #ratquest or #thegenierats in your video description. If we get this trending, people will get motivated and you have better chances of getting higher on the leaderboard.
more participants = more upvotes
What are the rewards?
Once the challenge is over, participants will have the option to mint an NFT. This will be a proof of participation token with rarity attributes based on ranking.
These NFTs will be different for every challenge and they will not repeat. So make sure you enter. You only get one chance to get the reward.
Our goal is to distinguish and bring together people with common interests. If you participated in a cooking event, your NFT will be different than next week’s sporting challenge.
